Jadie Montgomery

Jadie started as a script reader for BBC Films then became a script editor in children’s comedy-drama. She worked on major titles such as
SOOTY , MY PARENTS ARE ALIENS and THE NEW WORST WITCH . Moving into adult drama, Jadie eventually became story editor for EMMERDALE . Now with hundreds of hours of script editing and storylining behind her, Jadie’s credits also include a number of documentaries, including the RTS award-winning AFTER THE WAR: CONQUERING GERMANY by Diverse Productions.

Prior to joining Headline, Jadie was a development producer at BBC Drama. She collaborated with several excellent British independent production companies to develop a variety of singles and series projects, including Hat Trick’s MISS MARIE LLOYD: QUEEN OF THE MUSIC HALL for BBC4 and Paloma Production's A CLASS APART for BBC1.

Jadie is a passionate supporter of new writing talent across theatre, film and television with a proven track record of introducing new voices to television. Most recently, she was a writer’s mentor for the ROYAL COURT theatre’s anniversary scheme to foster new talent.

As our Head of Development, Jadie is responsible for overseeing all television and film development, encompassing the creation of new, original programming and also working on our existing slate of singles, series and feature film developments.
